I would rather have a screen that goes darker for night reading than brighter for daytime reading. Who reads a tablet in full sun anyway? My original transfer's too bright already.

True.

I have a 1920x1200 24" IPS monitor and that puppy would burn your eyes out at 50% brightness at night if the house lights weren't on.

Even my olde Sony XPERIA X10i has brightness turned right down and it's still almost to bright with no external light/night viewing.

Interesting though, 1920x1200 IPS+ in a 10" screen.... some images must look pretty impressive on such a screen.

Guessing most of the power goes maintaining the screen, even so 10 hours it not bad.

So there is a new one already? We haven't had the prime officially released here yet. Might swing to the Ipad soon if the rumours about the 3 are true.
