Nice, thanks for the heads up!!!

Next I want quicksync support and I'll be a happy camper,  at least until the next big thing comes along.

Please excuse me for slightly OT.
I have downloaded the latest HB 0.9.6 version (thanks for the heads-up) and it has re-invigorated my interest in setting up a dedicated TV-Recorder/Media-Server using MediaPortal TVServer.
At the moment my HTPC is a singleseat MP installation and because I was running out of storage space on it (5TB just isn't enough) I have been converting the recorded programs to MKV using HB. But the CPU in the HTPC isn't up to much (dual core AMD 5200+) and will only chug its way through the task at about 10fps. Because of this glacial pace I have been transferring the .TS files to my laptop over my LAN and processing it there using HB. But even it only processes in realtime levels (25-30fps) and is an i7.
As I go to set up my MediaServer/Recorder I want to be able to do the transcoding on the same machine using HB. I intend to leave the system running 24/7 so don't want huge power drain, but also want reasonable HB performance. Any input on hardware would be appreciated. Need 6 SATA ports and at least 2 PCI-E and 1 PCI slots on MB but am more concerned with CPU&RAM requirements.

Sorry if this is too far OT. Let me know if it is, and I will start a new thread.
