I signed up to the deal in July last year, and it appears to have gone back to full price for my April/May bill

Stu1: Even better is if you are a Vodafone customer you can get another 10 off sky if you have unlimited internet. My bill is now 29 per month on old sky deal for Soho, sport starter and entertainment.
I am waiting to hear back from Retention team as due to resign this week. Was told can only get reduced pricing using Starter on new tv plans here https://www.vodafone.co.nz/tv/vodafone-tv/
I can get $69.95 Smart Connect for unlimited fibre and keep old decoder but must take Starter/Entertainment plus add Sport, etc. Still waiting on what that adds up to via email vs using the pricing here of 63.98 or approximately $130 a month unlimited fibre and Sky with Sport.
At this time looks like Vodafone wont get my money so interested in how your $29 came about as Retention team not quoting me that.

I signed up to the sky deals marketing team just before the new packages started , so got sky basic and sport 39 per month. When they switched to new packages i also got Soho as well as sky starter, entertainment and sport. I have Unlimited VDSL with Vodafone I rang Vodafone to retain my cell phone contract and they asked if I had sky and said I could get 10 off my sky bill as well. I got a call from sky about a week later and discount for was added to sky bill even though I'm only paying 39 per month. Comes up on my sky bill as Sky broad band discount
Ah so the "deals" here not direct with Vodafone but because phone is Vodafone $10 less (mine is as well). Think this will be me but looks like its now
The deal is $48.99 inc GST per month and you get:
- Sky Starter
- MYSky+ (1Tb drive)
- 2 x Premium Channels (Movies, Sport, or Entertainment)
- Free install, 6 month contract etc

Hi, yep the text was legit and have renewed my subscription. Also since then I have received a follow up text that says I am welcome to “pass on to anyone you know that may like to join SKY on a great deal.” So, to the people I know...
The deal I got is SKY basic, mySKY, Sport and HD Ticket for $48.99 per month with a minimum sub of 6 months. The deal lasts for 1 year.

Just to confirm - where you say Sky basic - you mean Sky Starter and Sky Entertainment? And was it the Mysky+ box (1TB) or just the Standard Mysky box?

To give the 30 days notice of cancellation (in order to get the 12 months deal again), do I ring the standard 0800 number or do I ring the number used for the deal initially?

So you ring up cancel SKY, you have to give 30 days notice, so is that 30 days notice - the 30 days stand down period?
ie you can sign up 30 days after giving notice say using someone else's name in the house? Even though you will have had SKY for that entire time?

You give 30 days notice of your contract ending, during which time you still have Sky. You then have to be without Sky for 30 days after returning the decoder before you can re-sign. So it's 60 days in total, but you don't have Sky for 30 of those.
Just called to give my 30 days notice, cancellation team was too busy so they will call me back however they mentioned it's 90 days for reconnection not 60. That's news to me?
