Does anyone know if Dick Smith will honor the Zagg warranty?

I purchased a iPhone 6 Glass Screen Protector on the 6th of December, yesterday, the glass chiped at one edge.

Do I take it back to dick smith?

I doubt it - the guarantee (which isn't clearly defined on the website - may just warrant the protector not the phone) is by the manufacturer not the retailer.

As far as I can tell their warranty only covers the protector itself not the iPhone, and would also like to know how the glass got chipped.

It's not clear what you mean from your post. Did the screen protector chip? if so, then it will be covered.

screen protector chipped..... sorry not the phone, i would be going to apple for that one :)

but it seems like a defective product, consumer guarantees act thing to me?

Given it's a week old and says "lifetime guarantee" I think going to DS could be appropriate. This is basic consumer guarantees stuff. If you dropped it they may have a case to say user error, even with the lifetime guarantee unless it specifically says something about it being drop proof.

DSE were very good! They said sure we can replace it. I didnt have my receipt so they looked through transactions and found mine.

Very happy with that!
