Hi ,

So over the weekend I signed up for Netflix's USD7.99 p/m free-trial streaming plan.  I used Mediahint in the process because we're outside the legal region.

It all worked fine, My credit card was accepted...they put a hold of $9.8 NZD on my account to make sure.

And I started watching House of Cards.

Then last night, I had to clear out my cookies, do some general OS maintenance.

So of course my cookie session with Netflix was deleted and I had to login again.

So I typed what I really thought my password is....and nope. ...then another try...nope.

After the 4th try, I gave up and used their "send an email to myself to reset my password"  page ...I typed in my email and the text said "email has been sent".

I waited 1 hour....NADA.  ....I did another one....Nope.
Then i read the FAQ section and it says that the email should arrive within a few minutes.

And I can't even email their support because there are no links. The "email us" link just leads to  "not available in your region".
I don't really wanna call them.

So now the problem is if i just let it go , by this time next month my free trial will be over and they'll start charging my CC !

Help ?

You've checked your junk/spam folder in your email account?
You may need to log into webmail to do this.

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

Yup. All folders.

And this morning the $9.8 VISA HOLD is suddenly gone.

Could it be because when I was entering my CC detail, it was asking for a zip code and I entered my NZ one (since it says it has to be the same as the CC) and Netflix found out it's a NON-US one ?

What CC are you using?
I used an Air New Zealand One Smart debit card and the Zip/Address of my Youshop account.

VISA Debit from National Bank (Which is now ANZ, but the card was made when National was still independent)
