project had been “buried among people who are useless deep inside ministries who just can’t deliver this”.

I hope Morgan picks up his own toys he has thrown out of the cot and doesn't expect others to pick them up.

Wealthy tech bro throws a tantrum because he didn't get his own way. Disgraceful.

CovidCard was never going to be a good solution, but the overall attitude from Morgan and co right the way through makes me glad it's not going ahead.

Batman: Positive cases had previously treated negative before flight

Which shows that the great idea to test within 3 days of departure, was in fact a waste of time, money, and tests, and where no research was used in the formation of said idea.

As a tracker of interactions with others,  Bluetooth tracking is more trouble than its worth, it just generates too many false positives....

But, it is potentially useful as an automated check in check out system, to remove the need to scan QR codes, and I think that was what the MIQ trial was going to examine,

Um, no thanks. Its easier being an armchair CEO than actually being one

What you are implying is that you and every other expert knows more than the actual experts.

I wonder if the infection vector for those passengers is a airline crew member,
It would seem to be unusual to have that many change in such a short space of time.

Impossible to know. It could be any of the above. Including catching it in the testing station or after getting tested before going to the airport, at the airport, at home etc

In their case perhaps, but would have picked up already positive cases and prevented them travelling. It should be a layered approach.

I cant agree, its picking up bits and pieces so you dont get any real improvment and you still have to maintain every protocol we have as its just a bits and pieces part tme fix.

Very early days but its promising. If compliance isn't that great, and its only Level 2, there is a clear level of risk there, BUT if its contained to known sources who are probably isolating in some form, as are known but uninfected contacts of contacts,  there may not be much wandering in the community. I havent been watching, but do they say if the ones they found, say today, were already in precautionary isolation, or not?

Todays were. Yes. (self) BUT, they don't give information as to for how long. If they all did out of respect after the first case. Or if it's taken 4 days to be notified or show symptoms so should

The others that go + while in Facility, tend to be family who were all moved as soon as 1 went.

Someone finally asked why we have open doors and not limit or weekly cap. With the imported cases spiking 240%

Reading between lines it kinda looks like it is to justify the costs of taking over entire hotels. They're 'confident' in the measures and holding that 7000 figure is manageable
