I read in the paper this morning a certain EV has come in at No.7 on the top ten car sales for September!
I suspect If you discounted rental sales it would have done even better. Of course I would not believe the model 3 could keep this up and this is only a one off.
Or could it hold its placing maybe, October too, after that though unlikely.
The Model 3 it was actually the top selling single car model (exc. rentals and Utes ) for September,
1 TOYOTA COROLLA 1011
2 TOYOTA YARIS 432
3 TESLA MODEL 3 359
but once you exclude the rental fleet sales
1 TOYOTA COROLLA 736
2 TOYOTA YARIS 306
you get
TESLA MODEL 3 359
TOYOTA COROLLA 275
TOYOTA YARIS 126
Of course the pre orders will skew the Tesla numbers, so we will probably have to wait till November until they are totally out of the system
