You may have noticed Trump rallies always begin with Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA", a song written 1984. Note he's had only 3 hits on the country music charts, last being the song.

Neither here or there, frankly I like better the song "God Bless America" by Irving Berlin, 1954.

Anyhow in 2008 then-President George W. Bush nominated Lee for the National Council on the Arts, and the Senate confirmed his appointment.

These are not permanent appointments, and his expired in 2021.

As several appointments expire. Biden nominated someone to replace Lee, along with replacing six Obama nominees.

However the conservative press had many, many stories that it was all political

His father disdained losers and Trump would rather ruin the country than admit he lost.

The Trump campaign has sent a warning shot to the Republican Party’s House campaign arm and some of its most prominent digital consultants: Stop using the former president’s image and likeness in your fundraising pitches or you will pay.

In a letter sent on Thursday afternoon to the National Republican Campaign Committee and ten GOP consulting firms, Trump’s top two campaign officials, Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita, said the former president may not endorse candidates who used firms that were fundraising off of Trump without his consent.

The bad thing is not that the leaders become crazy. The bad thing is that every would-be leader of the smallest donkey state just thinks that how they can get away with it, they can (and do) do the same to their people. Trump is an open call to loot his own people for base motives.

Maybe he should ask for a delay due to a "bad hair day?" It's more plausible than the other excuses he'll be piling on.
