So further delays, this again shows why these arrangements should be done before and election and made public before voting starts so we know what we are voting for. Although they cannot foresee the election result they can say what they would do under various scenarios. This back room crap is thumbing their noses at the voting public.
You can't really negotiate until you know what you are negotiating with/for. Depending on the result a desired coalition may not even get the numbers required. However everyone involved knew before the election a negotiation would take place and the results for it would need to be ratified by the appropriate boards etc. Given Peter's earlier statements they knew they would need to meet tonight to review/ratify the deal. Even the Green Party has said they can take a proposal to their delegates to vote on fairly quickly. Either NZFirst board has no clue, or they are stalling.
