I am sure if Jacinda knew the result, and it wasn't in her Favour, she would be out and attacking Winston for his decision and stealing the Thunder. Likewise with National.

Maybe...  I hope they go with Labour/Greens, but I'm not holding my breath. National have got a lot more to lose, and would most likely be willing to give a lot more to NZF than Labour IMHO.

I've said from the start when Winston announced he wanted to wait for the special votes to be counted that his preference is Labour. I still think that is his preference.

*I just read a Herald article that his "tough" decision was because he wanted to go with Labour but Labour is offering him less than National!

Greens 150 are meeting with Labour. They did not plan to meet unless they had to. Could be Labour or just another counter counter counter counter offer

Bloody Greens are the ones causing the holdup! Labour and NZF have both said that they wont/cant reach a coalition agreement until the Greens have (with Labour), and the Greens wont until they know if Labour/NZF are going into coalition.

Greens have a planned meeting at 07:00pm but there's no guarantee they'll have a meeting tonight. They've cancelled all the previously scheduled meetings this week.

@maxLV could be.

I've read articles why it's National and not. And Labour and not. They have all been compelling. The delay could be that

It better not cost a arm and three legs and if so, all 3 are at fault

I have no major concerns and now we can get on with it. I also feel National have dodged a bullet

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

He makes a fair point 12 days after specials were announced - that is a reasonable period & far shorter than 1996.

Well that's  over I hope despite our political leanings we move on with our lives as usual and support this new government. For those of you who are against the collation you only have another 3 years to wait (probably only 2 before major changes are implemented) and then have your chance to change.  But lets get behind this Government and do the best for our country.

Umm the Greens haven't decided?

Anyway just heard him speak - the coalition is between NZF and Labour, not the Greens, and I quote the live feed, "[he] hates [the Greens]".

Awesome! I'm waiting for the promised Dunedin hospital next year.

I don't believe they will do much I'd regard as the best and no, I won't be getting behind them in any way at all if I can avoid doing so.

An open mind is such a wonderful thing. Maybe you will discover that one day.

Right, you as you did with the National led Government for the past 9 years?

Getting behind this Government and "do the best for our country" are mutually exclusive terms in my view.
