DaveB: Bannon will end up back at Breitbart.
Bannon never really left.
He only had to give the appearance of having left.
I have enjoyed laughing at the cartoons and comments because Trump is such a reality-challenged buffoon, but I can't laugh any more, especially not after watching this Ted talk on refugees (which everyone should take the time to view). Trump is not just immoral and diseased and despicable, he actually is evil, and that makes it hard to continue laughing at his clumsy stupidities. A State legislator has now actually called for his assassination, if what I think I saw is correct. I absolutely do not endorse this. Murder can never be a political tool. Down that path lies perdition and the end of everything that is good about democracy. But the fact that someone in a position of political authority thinks it is acceptable to say such a thing, and the fact that nazi wannabes feel free to march and spew their poisonous ideas, and the fact that a 'comedian' thinks it is somehow okay to display a severed head representing Trump, all these things and many more dramatically illustrate how far he has managed to drag discourse in America down. He is a pig of a man in body and soul, and the sooner his bloated, pus-filled face fades from public consciousness, the better.

Rikkitic:
The remaining members of a presidential arts and humanities panel resigned on Friday in yet another sign of growing national protest of President Trump’s recent comments on the violence in Charlottesville.
Members of the President’s Committee are drawn from Broadway, Hollywood, and the broader arts and entertainment community and said in a letter to Trump that “Your words and actions push us all further away from the freedoms we are guaranteed.”
“Reproach and censure in the strongest possible terms are necessary following your support of the hate groups and terrorists who killed and injured fellow Americans in Charlottesville,” the commissioners wrote in a letter sent to the White House on Friday morning. “The false equivalencies you push cannot stand. The Administration’s refusal to quickly and unequivocally condemn the cancer of hatred only further emboldens those who wish America ill. We cannot sit idly by, the way that your West Wing advisors have, without speaking out against your words and actions.”
“Supremacy, discrimination, and vitriol are not American values,” they added. “Your values are not American values. We must be better than this. We are better than this. If this is not clear to you, then we call on you to resign your office, too.”
Does anyone else think another civil war could actually be brewing in America?
I dont think so, you mean sort of like to days of the black riots n the 60's?
IMHO, the issues right now are based around one man. The extremists have always been there. While Trump has started out failing to pass anything of note, as his ban and health bills keep failing, lately, he has gone on a dive. He cant live with commentary as all leaders do, it gets to him he reacts, he cant leave it alone. Hence, he continues to do nothing. And his own presidency is full of rubbish. The latest episode now pulls more Repubs against him. I feel he is now on the downward slide. There is no way he can last till next election, surely?
