This could be a sign of dementia or a mini-stroke.
No, obviously not. He's the healthiest president ever, didn't you know? Besides, if he can use that as a defense when he finally comes to trial he might get off lightly, and I don't know about you, but I'm hoping to see him serve ~5 years in PMITA prison followed by a good decade or so of remaining relatively healthy life forced to flip burgers at McDonalds for minimum wage to survive.
The rest of the Trump clan can join him after 15-20 years.
iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!
These comments are my own and do not represent the opinions of 2degrees.
I wonder if he has an undisclosed speech impediment, it's called BS parathesia of the vocal cords
Edit; added a bit that some how vanished from my post
I applaud this
Not for a Labour point, or Adern, but its a show of world unity by her and others. The US is a super power, but it runs a poor second to global unity.
300 million vs 7000 million. 1 country vs 193.
Numbers matter
World Order sounds like a movie theme, but the world is very very small. We have local Govt, national Govt, global Govt is just another natural and sensible step
Further, the Stuff headline stated "OPINION: The PM's UN trip won her many international admirers, but she's unlikely to change Donald Trump's course."
Who cares? He is on a road to isolation from normal people thats where he is taking his country. Who cares? Pity about the majority of his people though.
New York Times - Brett Kavanaugh and Christine Blasey Ford Square Off in Emotional Hearing With Court in Balance
WASHINGTON — Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh and his accuser faced off Thursday in an extraordinary, emotional day of testimony that ricocheted from a woman’s tremulous account of sexual assault to a man’s angry, outraged denial, all of which played out for hours before a riveted nation and a riven Senate.
The two very different versions of the truth, unfolding in the heated atmosphere of gender divides, #MeToo and the Trump presidency, could not be reconciled. The testimony skittered from cringe-worthy sexual details to accusations and denials of drunken debauchery to one juvenile exchange over flatulence.
Washington has not seen anything like it in a generation. For people not used to watching government in action, it was a spectacle of tantrums, tears, preening and political ambition - what Senator Ted Cruz, Republican of Texas, called, “Sadly one of the most shameful chapters in the history of the United States Senate.”
I watched this political circus for most of 8 hours. I feel ill. Has the Senate learned nothing since 1991?

Its shocking. We whine about Trump, and his desire to drain the swamp. Republicans have shown they are the swamp. I dunno if the Democrats are as bad, but its a mess politically there. Part of me wants Trump to have a second term, so he can continue his isolationist regime, and the rest of us can gradually reduce exports there and imports, and work together, all 192 of us. A conflict breaks out so we say to the US, keep away, and so on. We will look after this, you are not wanted. If he wants patriotism, go for it. )We all do, but we balance that) If you want to be isolated, go for it, we want it too from you.
Ugh
This is where the world needs to go, ex CNN
China is the big elephant in the room. China's appetite for LNG is growing rapidly. And it's on the verge of overtaking Japan as the biggest buyer of LNG in the world.
That's one major reason why the United States is planning to quadruple its export capacity by building at least 25 new facilities. LNG is a centerpiece of Trump's energy dominance agenda.
In the 12 months leading up until June 2018, China was the second-largest buyer of US LNG, according to energy consulting firm Wood Mackenzie. Shell, the US subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell (RDSA), was the largest seller.
However, China has dialed back its US LNG purchases in recent months as trade tensions have ratcheted up, according to ClipperData. Beijing is instead turning more to LNG powerhouses Qatar, Australia and Russia.
"China has been able to find willing sellers closer to its own backyard," said Matt Smith, ClipperData's director of commodity research.
Kavanaugh, solely on the evidence of his testimony alone, is barely worthy of being described a person, let alone being supposedly qualified to be a judge. His demeanour throughout much of his testimony was closer to that of a palpably unhinged maniac, with almost unrestrained aggression and absolutely naked displays of partisanship. Kavanaugh carried on as if anyone who dared to question him was the enemy -- the attack on the Democrat senator for her supposed drinking problem was nothing short of a disgrace. In contrast, Dr Ford's testimony was dignified and controlled.
Look, no one will ever know for a fact whether Kavanaugh is truly a sexual predator. But on the balance of probabilities, I have zero reservation in concluding that he's an utterly despicable person. I hope some Republicans would grow a pair and vote him down.
[Mod edit (MF): no funny names]
Another example of craziness.
The US is trying and failing to get anywhere with NK. SK has no issues. US wants to get its own way, and it punishes NK further. Back off, give them space, if they renege, fine, but they are playing the Trump game, its all about the US. Its actually about the US and NK. Both sides negotiate, show good faith, make progress. Its as if the US doesn't know how to negotiate. Off course they do. Their goal is not negotiation its bullying, as is the case for all of Trumps policies.
They need to be told, by the UN, to F off, you can't deal with it, so we will.

What else would you expect from an ultra-conservative puppet candidate hand-picked by Donald Trump for a position of power?
"Only the best people."
EDIT
The Washington Post - The only consensus is that the Senate - and the nation - have hit a new low.
