Not only that, but Ukraine on Fire seem to have been created by a pro-Russia propaganda outfit.

After some consideration and investigation, I have blocked a user from posting in this thread. We don't need people derailing the discussion by raising whataboutism, links to Russian propaganda and off topic posts.

In the article mentioned it says Stone's son was an anchor for RT (up goes a red flag).
I don't know how much influence on the doc his son had.

I do not understand what Russias tactics are or ablities. Why does Ukraine still have a working electricity Grid and Water supply? Are they still trying pretend they good guys and by showing restraint by not blowing the substations up since hacking them has failed at the start of the "operation".
Electric power has been considered a critical target in every war since World War II. Yet Kyiv still has power.
Kyiv is a little further away from the hottest fighting at the moment - their original push really stalled out and got shredded - and I imagine the anti-air defenses are pretty thick there too.

Yup. It's somewhat disingenuous to call it "Oliver Stone's documentary", it's pro-Kremlin propaganda that merely uses Oliver Stone, and his name, as an interviewer (and patsy). In terms of viewing material, treat it as a record of how the Kremlin sees the Ukraine situation. That doesn't mean "don't watch it", but be aware of what it is you're watching, it's the Kremlin's view of the Ukraine situation.
Short story is that Russia feels it has every right to do whatever it wants in Ukraine, but its not fair if anyone helps the victim
“Russia is cutting off natural gas supplies to Poland and Bulgaria after they refused to pay in rubles, dramatically escalating tensions with the West.”
https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2022/04/26/energy/poland-russia-gas/index.html
”Bulgarian government agencies have taken steps to make alternative arrangements for the supply of natural gas.”
and Poland says there will be no shortage of gas there, even when Russian gas stopped.
I’m guessing rest of Europe is refusing to pay in rubles, says Europe won’t be able to keep their economies running long without Russian gas.

dramatically escalating tensions with the West. is more like dramatically escalating tensions with Putin.
Oil and gas in Europe is a price to pay. It can be millions in weapons, or it can be gas and oil issues in Europe. The latter is easy compared to missile strikes.
Its about who will crack first. Russia's "crack" will be the years ahead, the rest of us that get economic fallout, is easier than Ukraine's fallout.

Electric power has been considered a critical target in every war since World War II. Yet Kyiv still has power.
The initial objectives of any combined arms offensive operation include achieving air superiority, destroying enemy supply dumps and disrupting enemy command & control.
Enemy airfields, air defense systems, communication centers, fuel storage facilities and ammunition depots are all primary targets.
As armed forces can operate in the field without relying on substations for power, in a city without electricity those who are most affected tend to be civilians.
I find it interesting that part of the justification of the invasion by Russia was the "encirclement" of Russia by NATO if Ukraine were to join.
This is a map that shows the "encirclement as it stands today.

Like all of Putin's and his sycophants announcements it's total b******t. It's all about recreating the USSR under a Stalin like leader.
In a speech yesterday he talked about having weapons that none of his adversaries could 'boast' of. That says it all.
