I realise this story is about the orange buffoon, but I think it's absolutely deplorable - actually, despicable - that he could say this about anybody; now he thinks Liz Cheney should be shot:

https://www.1news.co.nz/2024/11/02/trump-says-liz-cheney-might-not-be-such-a-war-hawk-if-she-had-rifles-shooting-at-her/

Such a simpering, disgusting coward, he wouldn't know the first thing about war if he tried (eh Mr Bone Spurs). If he didn't have his minions of followers he would be nothing - which I hope (in time) he doesn't have and he just fades away. Christ alone knows he fully deserves it 😠

The Trump campaign put out statements today saying the “fake news” had taken their candidate’s comments out of context - uh huh 🙄 that seems to be their default, go-to thing these days when the idiot says something offensive/stupid.

To her credit, Cheney responded to him on Twitter without resorting to violent words (someone the moron could learn a thing or two from):

Free speech is one thing. This is not protected speech. Why this idiot is not in prison already is unbelievable.

AlterNet - Arizona’s Attorney General is now investigating Trump’s 'death threat' against Liz Cheney

01 Nov 2024

On Thursday night, former President Donald Trump made a comment about former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyoming) staring down multiple rifle barrels during a conversation with far-right pundit Tucker Carlson. That comment could result in a criminal indictment.

Phoenix-based NBC affiliate KPNX is now reporting that Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes (D) has opened a criminal investigation into whether the ex-president's remarks could be classified as a death threat. Mayes told local reporters that her office is taking Trump's comment seriously.

"I have already asked my criminal division chief to start looking at that statement, analyzing it for whether it qualifies as a death threat under Arizona's laws," Mayes said on Friday. ...

Arizona's state statute on death threats stipulates that anyone who "threatens or intimidates by word or conduct" can be prosecuted for a Class 1 misdemeanor or Class 6 felony. The former can carry a maximum fine of $2,500 and/or up to six months in prison. The latter can carry a sentence of anywhere from four months to 5.75 years in prison, along with fines and/or probation.

I bet if the situation were reversed and Walz (for example) said that about Trump, my God, we would never hear the end of it. But the orange buffoon? Oh, it's "taken out of context" 🙄 (although I fail to see what "context" was missing there...)

It's not the first time pro-lifers kill women with their laws.

How 'pro-life' can you be when you do this to a young woman who did absolutely nothing wrong? They need to find another designation. Anti-life might work.

They are not "pro-life". They are zealots.

Evangelicals , the strictest Catholics, and you can roll through other religions.
They just love a 'powerful man' that 'gets away' with being the worst person they can be.

Only need to look at the lack of co-operation with a certain enquiry here by certain groups.
Given a place of no-oversight like Glorivale they show their true selves.

I'm sure there are periods in history where "Christians" would be hard to differentiate from ISIS or Taliban.

The inquisitions were many and various.
Once secure against outsiders, then turning on each other.

Like his buddy Trump, Mike Lindell loves to spend other people's money.

I don't know about you, but borrowing large sums of money from "non-traditional financing" sounds like a bad idea. Sort of using a "non-traditional" currency for my savings.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell’s financial woes are only getting more desperate: The Independent

When MyPillow founder Mike Lindell recently found himself in a cash crunch, he grasped for the only financial lifeline he could — but the unrepentant voting machine conspiracist now insists in a lawsuit that he was duped into an extortionate “bait-and-switch” that could very well ruin him.

In the other corner, Lifetime Funding, a Long Island, New York, company that provides non-traditional financing to businesses unable to get bank loans, is suing Lindell for allegedly refusing to pay back his debt of nearly $600,000, claiming he has intentionally blocked them from ever collecting.

Reached by phone on Thursday, Lindell promised to expose what he insisted is “very illegal” conduct by Lifetime and similar outfits, before veering abruptly into a bitter litany of complaints about mainstream journalists and what he sees as their collective refusal to entertain his fully debunked allegations of a rigged 2020 presidential election.

Did the moron ever pay that bloke who won the $5 million off him by (correctly) proving his "election fraud" bs was, well, exactly that, bs?

I suppose you could add that amount to this $600,000 as well.

The NY Times - New York Court Suspends Lawyer Who Pushed Trump’s Fake Electors Scheme

31 Oct 2024

Kenneth Chesebro, a lawyer who was a key architect of the idea to use false slates of pro-Trump electors to overturn the 2020 election results, was indefinitely barred by a state appellate court on Thursday from practicing law in New York.

The disciplinary action was the latest instance of Trump-aligned lawyers losing their licenses over their efforts to help the former president try to subvert the 2020 election. ...

... “effective immediately” ... four years after the event  🙄

I was not aware of this Dr Phil "Turnaround Ranch" bootcamp scandal until YouTube today. This is from 2021:

A different woman who tried to sue Dr Phil failed. Dr Phil applied for costs:

L.A Times: The judge was responding to a motion, filed in November 2021 by attorneys representing McGraw and CBS. They had argued that Archuleta’s case should be tossed because the alleged actions came during the taping of a TV show, which furthers “the exercise of free speech on matters of public interest: television and mental health,” according to a defendants’ motion.

Dr Phil McGraw apparently does not have a license to practice psychology. I'm sure that prevents a lot of lawsuits for professional negligence if he's not a professional to begin with.

What would truly be "glorious" would be to see this MAGA a-hole get completely passed over to be anything in the orange buffoon's cabinet.
