An outfit called Guloggratis Auction has just offered me NZ$10,000 per month to help run their auction site

What I find interesting is that this spam came to an email address which is unique to a certain NZ website. I have only ever used this email address at this website to register an account.

So to me that suggests either the website has been compromised or they sold their database? Unlikely it was a lucky random attack given the email address format is websitename@mydomain

Not impossible they have been compromised. Remember when Hell Pizza had problems, we found out about it because someone here on Geekzone commented that he started getting spam on an address used only on that website...

I have emailed the website (run by a large AU/NZ Company) asking about this so will see what reply (if any) I get.

I have PM'd freitasm the name of the website. I will leave it up to him to post it here if he sees appropriate
