Can an owner of either a LG OLED 55B6 or 55B7 with MySky HDI, help me please?

Do these TV’s produce a high quality picture on the Sky Sport, Sky Movies and other channels (Jones, TV1, etc)? Every time I walk into a retailer in New Zealand, they have the TV’s displayed on 4K shop mode, which is no indication of what the picture would look like through MySky HDI. I hate motion blur and judder.

I currently have a dying 8 year old Panasonic Plasma which has been great particularly for handling fast motion, but as we all know these are no longer available.

It is interesting to note that in a recent review of the 2017 LG OLED 55B7, the TV displayed motion blur in some instances when sent a 1080i broadcast signal (Sky TV NZ use a 1080i signal). The only way to reduce this, was to engage “Game Mode” on the TV, or send a 720p signal from the set-up box (I am not sure if his can be done with MySky HDI). The review I am referring to is below, starting at 7 minutes 45.

Any help would be appreciated.

I wouldn't go the LG OLED if you aren't going to be watching 4K or 1080p movies or content. I bought it purely for movie watching and was the same with the Panasonic plasma. These TVs thrive on 4k and HDR content. 4k BD player is what I'm after as soon a I get my TV back.

I'm certain you could tweak the settings to get normal TV working but you're wasting those glorious blacks. Thats what you can't see in the shop, these things are spectacular with the lights off.
