Hi all

Does anyone have a Pelican 1080 notebook case? It is so close to being the perfect size for my Dell XPS
M1330 but according to specs it is fractions of an inch out . . .

Any other suggestions? Has to be that size or close to it, and pretty robust. Thanks.

I've ordered one from the US of A today, the 1080cc computer liner (rather than Pick n Pluck foam) model. Photos to follow in 10 days or so of the perfect fit (fingers crossed)

Yeah, in the past few weeks I've received torches (a Maglite and a Streamlight) and accessories, a Leatherman tool and accessories, a Uniden BCT15 radio scanner and accessories, and now this case will be on the way in a few hours. In every purchase (so far, fingers crossed for this next one) they have been at my door in 10 days or less and in every purchase they have been well less than half the local price including shipping (which usually ends up being 25-80% of the value of the item!!!).

That is just the standard price on Ebay which isn't much less than the US RRP. NZ resellers are a step or 2 or 3 down the chain so their hands will be tied. I'd love to support the local guy but for that much of a $$ difference? No way.
