My 5 year old Macbook Pro is coming to the end of its life: outdated office, tiger osx, dead battery and the nine key is dead.

Will it be worth waiting for Ivy Bridge and Kepler or should I just try get a cheap Sandy Bridge? Cheers

15z xps with i7-2640M, 2gb gt525m, 1080p, 256gb ssd, 8gb ram for around 2.15k
