And this is why we get shoved to the second launch round :D

Also I hope no one signed up to the $49 24 month contract. Its saves you $5 a month, which is nothing compared to the freedom of switching plans in the future!

Interest free is not a bad option, I did that for 6 months but then paid off the rest of the phone a switched to prepaid.

Yea.. I managed to pre order one last night and we will get it but Interest Free is not a bad option. They can still keep it for a month or so and then switch back to different carrier or prepay and pay the remaining amount of the phone

Don't think so, I ordered a 6+ on no term with a one off payment of $1299 + $39 monthly

I did the same, but silver :) Glad I did it at 6am :) Now to see if I get my phone close to launch date or not. Apple's Website in Aussie is saying 3-4 weeks on all Iphone6+

I will at some point likely have a brand new Iphone6+ 64GB in silver to sell on. Hopefully very close to launch so I can sell it for retail value and not loose any money.

Has anyone signed up for the Emoji Queue yet? http://www.sparkeq.co.nz/

The terms and conditions on the Emoji Queue site don't mention any plan/contract requirement and on facebook Spark commented they are doing outright sales if you are in the queue. But on Twitter it read like there will be no outright sales.

Can someone from Spark clarify here?

Signed up for Auckland one. I have a sickening feeling this won't go to plan either. No one seems to no a thing about the launch. I rang the store and they didn't know, none of the reps on the phone or chat at Spark knew what would happen. So I reserved and if on the night before they say contract only I simply will cancel.

Surely someone must know this info?

There won't be any out right sales. They have 2 options available
1 is 24 months contact

and 2nd is to go on a Open Term Ultra Plans with 12 or 24 Months Interest Free Plan.

Interest Free is not bad like you can go for Interest free and get a phone and use it for a month and then switch back to any carrier or prepay and pay the phone amount in full

So if you wanted, you could sign up to any open term plan, get the 12 month deferred payment, pay it out after 1 month and just be on pay-monthly like normal?

Yes, could get it on interest free and spend $39 extra for a month of open term, but I'm not really in that much of a hurry to get it to spend the money and mess around with cancelling plans etc.

Yes. I have done that with iphone 5s and iphone 5. Interest Free is not Contract it is just that as long as you are with telecom post pay you can pay the phone off in monthly installment but if you wish to switch to prepay or other carrier than you have to pay the full remaining amount of the phone and thats what there terms says as well.

They jus want you to be on post pay so you can use their sevices. We are still lucky that spark does it Vodafone and 2degree only be selling them on contract for few weeks.

I am not sure about that but Like when I pre ordered mine online last night I was able to buy it outright on Ultra $39 plan but this morning they changed it on ther website and only accepted order on 24 months terms and on 12-24 Interest Free options but maybe that only applies to online orders who knows we may be able to get it out right in store on launch day. I will be buying one for my wife on launch day see what happens then.

Got a second order confirmation email for my open-term order, so it's definitely been accepted. For some reason they've tampered with the delivery address, but it'll still get to me.

There's a note on the confirmation that I can initiate the number port myself as soon as the SIM and phone arrive; I don't need to wait until 3 Oct. There's a phone number to call, which is apparently an automated service.
