There's a note on the confirmation that I can initiate the number port myself as soon as the SIM and phone arrive; I don't need to wait until 3 Oct. There's a phone number to call, which is apparently an automated service.
What does the second email say?
I ordered on term and didn't receive a second order confirmation email.
Behodar: I don't have the email handy right now, but as it mentions potting it may only be for new customers; are you two already Spark customers?

If it’s before 1.00pm, we’ll do it within 4 hours. Call any time after that and it’ll be hooked up after 8.00am the next day (excluding weekends).
deeprandhawa: I received the second confirmation next day. I think people who placed order same night will be lucky enough to get it by launch day.
