Anyone know/can clarify when the timing of the the prepay extra's kicks in?
If I buy a $19 value pack, use up the 500MB in 2 weeks, then add a $15 500MB extra, I then have a month to use up that 500MB extra correct? Does it use the 500MB extra first once my $19 value pack renews automatically?
(So all extra's exist for ~30 days after you purchase them, and which data gets used first? The ones that you bought "first"?)

Yes you can have multiple data packs active, i'm pretty sure data gets used from the pack which expires soonest.
This is a great benefit that XT and 2D have (not sure about Vodafone, but definitely not Skinny) where extra packs are have their own expiry date different to the "billing cycle".

On the "Buy extras" page of sphone.telecom.co.nz you can now buy "(One-off)" packs which means you dont have to manually stop a pack from auto-renewing each month. (this is a recent feature).
