Hi,
I've read thru the big thread about this, but didn't see these issues addressed.
The dictionary size on the 6255 appears to be extremely small. After 50-100 words have been added it drops words from the start of the list to allow later ones to be added.
The text message inbox and outbox are small and there's no facility to allow storage of messages on the memory card. When the inbox is full an a txt message is received, after you delete a mesasge in the inbox to make space for the new message, only sometimes is delivery of the message attempted again. I'm not sure if this is a 6255 specific problem or a general telecom network problem. I suspect the latter. Either way it's very frustrating as it gives no indication as to who the message came from.
Occasionally all settings (eg. storage of photo's on the memory card rather than phone memory, ringtones and backgrounds) will be lost from the phone, and some of the photos in the memory card will be replaced with the telecom logo.
These are in addition to all the other problems people seem to experience with the 6255.
This is my second 6255 after I gave the first one back after 3 days since it kept turning off. The new one has the latest firmware on it.
I feel completely ripped off after getting this phone, especially since the 6235 came out lacking only the memory card for $400 less.
