Using Xtra, ADSL2+, 20gb plan

Anyone else having trouble?

it may of been a problem with my IP address,
tried a router reboot to force it to change and suddenly it comes right....

Hi

You're not alone.

I am currently having issues loading videos on YouTube. Sometimes it will say "An error has occured", other times it will just be completely black/blank. Sometimes the pages themselves just load as a basic HTML.

I'm with Telecom.

If you're still having issues can you send through your line number and IP, I'll look into it.

Thanks.

same problem here.
black or blank youtube screens every now and then when embedded (windows and os-x); site itself in html (os-x), saying javascript or flash isn't properly installed. but they are. tried firefox 3.5 (windows, os-x) and safari 4.0 (os-x). all other video sites work. reboot, reinstall, reset: nothing helps. tried different ip-numbers unsuccessfully.
started last sunday, problems getting worse yesterday afternoon. in windows somehow things seem to work fine from time to time, independent of resetting stuff. in os-x, embedded videos do sometimes appear, but it's pretty unpredictable when & why.
telecom (what else?), chch. won't bother their help desk since they'll try to make you do the same useless things over and over again, so that you would end up switching cables 'n' plugs and rebooting for hours, just to find out the problem is at their end.

I'm having all the same trouble with Telecom trying to access videos from Youtube. Can Telecom do anything right? Latency, Lag, High Pings Gaming, Slow International Speeds, You Tube Site. Boy I've had a gutsful of ADSL2+ in this country since the cabinets went up. I'm convinced since Telecom cut that many jobs sacking skilful techies that they now have no idea what they're doing wether it be Broadband or their XT mobile network or anything they touch!

Me too. I've spent hours reloading plugins for adobe flashplayer, updating Java, rebooting etc. It worked on Monday, stopped on Tuesday.

Very frustrating.

It's a bit confusing with two threads about the same issue, but over there Doozy says they are working on it and it's been partially resolved
