insane: Can someone confirm how this service actually works?
So you get UFB (fiber,) which presumably comes with the default ONT configured accordingly with an additional CVID for the IPTV?
Then does Vodafone supply a router as well as a set-top box? Is SKY/Freview then just viewed over said set-top box or do you still in addition to that have to pay for a SKY subscription?
One thing which Orcon did really well with 'Genius' was make it simple to use, if things aren't just plug and play uptake will never be good.
*Insert big spe*dtest result here*
hamish225: does the set top box plug into a different port on the ONT or do you just connect it up to your router with all your other computers and such?

my guess is the LFC installer will put it all in for you, like sky do. they dont mail you out a decoder and a satellite dish, they put it in for you.

NonprayingMantis: so does anybody know if the people who sign up for this will be able to get iSky, or will there be some alternative equivalent service built?

judging by this, looks like you will in fact lose iSky when you switch to Vodafone's sky product.

Actually it looks like you loose ALL channels when you switch to Sky with Vodafone:
NonprayingMantis:iSky works fine for live streaming and catch-up with cable connections, which is what that page is about now.NonprayingMantis: so does anybody know if the people who sign up for this will be able to get iSky, or will there be some alternative equivalent service built?
