Well seeing as real world testing seems to put Vodafone's 4G at 29Mbps that 5GB could be blown in as little as 25 min. 25 min of full speed internet doesn't sound as good as 'the end of the internet' really.

How did you get that figure 29Mbp/s?

However presumably the same selection of internet use uses the same number of bytes regardless of the connection speed?

I'll try and find the link, it was a survey of several country's cellular providers, VF came out best in NZ, with Spark next, and 2 degrees trailing. That said NZ came out well overall. I did pull the number from memory, so apologies if I have it wrong.

It would of included 3G in the average stats so it's not just 4G :)

Found it: Looks like it was OOKLA's june figures.

You are quite right that in probably includes 3G, but that just makes my point stronger dosn't it? It's 25min min for the average user, and even less if you spend your time in 100% 4G coverage. NBR claimed that it was getting 71Mbps which is less than 10min of data.
