@mikehales I have had VF-Fibre since Sep 8, 2016, but I've been a VF customer for many years.

I think the new HomeHub will solve the problems I've been having.

Am I eligible?

Or will I have to fork out for a UnifiAP?

I had an issue this morning with my HG659 dying (failed to power up despite trying multiple working power sockets), the customer service team said they would send out a replacement for me. Is it likely to be a replacement 659 or this one? They said 5-10 working days, I was a little astounded at the length of time, but pleaded with them to do it urgently (x3 teenage kids at home for school hols, can you imagine the grief)

Installed a new Hub today when my old ADSL failed to authenticate so I presumed Vodafone had upgraded me to VDSL.  Went ok until I changed the address to 192.168.1.2 to match my previous modem.   Then it forgot my new logon password and wouldn't work with the factory "vodafone" one either.  Called Vodafone help and waited ten minutes, got referred to a specialist techo on hold for 10 minutes then got cut off instead of answered.

Modem actually seems to be working ok so will wait and try again at a less busy time.   Doesn't seem to be worth a factory reset just to go through the same issue again.

@Alan2 try ' Admin ' and the PW last 8 characters of the modem serial number with the @ sign in the front @xxxxxxxx

Thanks Linus, but no, it didn't like that - at least with the SN letters capitalised as they are on the sticker.  All lowercase failed too.  Did you intend spaces around Admin?   That failed too.

No spaces around Admin but capital A is important

Yes, had that right.  I'd already found the username is case sensitive when I tried Vodafone instead of vodafone originally.

Another question, the Hub modem is not using my ADSL and MyVodafone logon and password to connect to the service but instead has what looks like a standard logon.   Since the password is hidden I don't know what it is.  If I want to use a different VDSL modem does anyone know if my individual ADSL logon/pw will work with that?  If not, what is the hidden password to use with the pre-configured logon name?

Hi Linux, no, in Christchurch but thanks for the offer. Hoping one of the Vodafone ninjas on here could maybe speed up the 5-10 working day delivery timeframe.

Shouldn't be any letters, it's the last 8 digits only, eg Admin/@12345678

As far as I can see this Admin password applies only to the older VDSL modem, HG659, and is not applicable to the Ultra Hub.
