Russell Stanners

Interrogate is such a good word. In this context though, it means you get to ask Russell Stanners, CEO of Vodafone, some questions. Vodafone is kindly putting Russell at Geekzoners' disposal in other words. :)

Here's how it goes:

  • One question per person
  • Stick to one question - keep it short and simple; no long rants please
  • Email the questions to juha at geekzone dot co dot nz - don't post them here
  • Be civil and don't raise personal issues that are better addressed by for instance customer services reps.
I'm not sure how long to leave this open for but once there are enough questions, Vodafone and I will select ten of the best for Russell to ruminate upon.

We'll see how this goes, but if there's good interest, I'll try to organise a similar Q&A session with Telecom.

How about trying to get some guests for the weekly chat? Obviously you could moderate all questions before they are asked..

We are happy to run a fully moderated IRC session (we also have a java based web gateway into IRC as well).

Ok, but let's keep on topic here. Like on Slashdot, please send to Juha the question you wanted to ask Russell. The top 10 questions (as selected by Vodafone and Juha) will be answered.

IRC and real-time stuff is tricky - not everyone's a fast typist or likes that kind of interview. Let's just stick with the e-mailed questions for the time being.

More questions would be good...

How is this progressing Mauricio and Juha?

Are we getting any closer to hearing some answers to our questions?

The story is that despite much nagging, Vodafone still hasn't pulled finger on this.

I'm very disappointed, especially since the approach initially came from Vodafone. Will make a last effort tomorrow.

I think Vodafone are very busy at the moment, what with all the complaining and all :)

It's not so bad... they weren't too busy to wheel out Stanners for the Herald at short notice.
