Mate of mine has a micro sim on Vodafone and wants to swap his number onto a nano sim. He wants to do the swap in-store but he forgot his 4 digit account PIN he setup when he first got his sim. What things would he need to bring with him to the Vodafone store?
I heard you need to bring photo ID but Vodafone have never required people to give their name when first activating their sim card right? Or have they started doing this over the last few years?

Photo ID has never been a requirement to reset a 4 digit account PIN,

Few security questions about the account is all that is required to reset the PIN

I'll tell my mate that John. But when activating a new prepay sim do people have to give their name that is recorded on file at Vodafone?

I think the OP is speaking about a Prepay connection which is different, Postpay guess you could show photo ID
