Not sure about VF but the Apple site has it available for order on the 26th Sept.....

Official comms should have been timed to be immediately after the main announcement...!

(oh and on a side issue John - have your guys test your mobile site on the iPhone (current one) as it does not seem to behave quite as it should when I view it - some things are on top of things they should be next to and so on)

Plenty of folks excited on this end, myself included. Currently we don't have any more information, sorry. As soon as we do, it'll be up on the main site, and I'll crosspost it here (Although someone will probably beat me to it!).

But that would require Apple to communicate in advance with its downstream international retail partners ( i.e phone network companies) on what the wholesale pricing was going to be, along with what discounting they will allow...

Looking at the details Apple gave at the launch, they tell their US networks what is going on ahead of time ( and get agreements from them on pricing), but the internationals have to wait for the info nearer to the local release dates...

Its not VFs fault they cannot tell you prices on a product that the manufacturer has not advised them of, Its all down to Apple's paranoid sense of them as the centre of the universe....

Your best bet would be to keep an eye on their iPhone page at http://www.vodafone.co.nz/iphone/
I don't think they've used the "Coming Soon" page for the iPhone before.

You've no doubt seen the Apple page already that indicates date for ordering? - 26 September.

Yep. Will be ordering two 6 Plus handsets the first day I can get them!

The 6 Plus is what the iPad should have been.

In the US, pre-orders open a week early. I'm therefore guessing that it'll be released in NZ on 3 Oct.

I agree - I think it will be rarer than hen's teeth for a while unless you want that naff gold colour with 16Gb in it...!
