Has anyone here experienced or suspected that the Vodafone TV set top box (T-Box) causing TV's to freeze?

I had an issue with my Panasonic P65VT50Z Plasma freezing. I have tried the following....

Reset to shipping state
Changed HDMi ports (rebooting after each change)
Changed HDMi cables
Turned off all the Viera Link settings.

I have no issues with the Chrome Cast or the Xbox One. If I say switch from onboard tuner to Xbox all is good, if I switch from TV to Vodafone TV I will get a freeze.  The same can happen
when switching Xbox to VF TV.

Some days on start up it will freeze when the HDMI source begins to appear (Input name flashes up) and it appears to be associated with the VF TV. An issue I have is it can go for a few days with out a
freeze, so when I have tries to run the TV without VF TV connected I have not experienced a freeze but that may will be coincidental. Its almost like does the light go out in the fridge when closed.

When the TV freezes nothing responds to either remote or the controls on the TV. The LED blinks that a command is being received but no action. The only way to resume is to disconnect from the power
source. The TV is not hot and neither are any of the attached components. as all are well ventilated. The TV is not showing any other issues and preforms as new.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

It looks like there's a firmware update from a while ago, not sure if it would help..? http://av.jpn.support.panasonic.com/support/global/cs/tv/download/fw/aoma/down_aamo4.html

Alternately is your Vodafone TV running the latest version, I think that's 3.8.3?

Thanks heaps for the reply Dylan, My TV has the latest Firmware installed, version 2621-10103. The VF TV is running version 3.8.3 build 1 . The signal level is 79%

A colleague has suggested.. "Try forcing the PVR to 1080i under ‘HDMI Settings’"

This issue is still ongoing. I have eliminated the TV or other devices. I had the VF box disconnected from the TV in question and freezes and power off stopped.

Are any of the fine Vodafone staff able to advise any other actions I could try?

To recap I have tried the following....

Reset to shipping state
Changed HDMi ports (rebooting after each change)
Changed HDMi cables
Turned off all the Viera Link settings.
Run the TV without VF TV attached, (no freezes or turn offs occurred)
Forced 1080i in settings as requested.

Yup.
It gets even harder when the Vodafone TV box goes through an amplifier and the end user is trying to use HDMI CEC... that's one of the most frustrating setups in the world of AV!

I have a simple set up. Its connected via HDMI straight to the TV. I would like to put it through XBox one but that is just too trouble some.
I gave up last night and just watched Netflix. I will try a reboot this morning.
