I have bought a recently built property at Pegasus Town and have been trying to get a broadband connection organised but after several calls and calling into the Vodafone shop in Rangiora in person I am struggling to get much response. The website shows it is available on the address checker but does not allow me to carry on and apply for a package and when I talk to Vodafone nobody seems to know what is available and say they will look into it and call me back but don't. One person told me they would send a tech out to look into it but never got back to me. If there is anyone out there that has any advice of who to contact or has had a similar experience I would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

Pegasus can be a bit tricky to try and get a connection in, as outlined briefly in this thread:

Welcome to Pegasus, you'll love it here. @MikeHales will get you sorted. There is also a Vodafone staff member who hangs out on the Pegasus Residents Group on Facebook - she is very helpful as well and happy to help with anything Pegasus Vodafone related.

What is the cable connection like there? No congestion?

I would be surprised if any of the HFC network has congestion now

Pretty darned rock solid the 6 months we have been here. I've only noticed bad congestion once and it was still enough to stream Netflix. No downtime either. Would still prefer fibre but it's not far behind.

I have taken a pic of the comms cabinet in the house, looks to me like the fibre cable is already there and just needs the ONT, I think?

HFC doesn't use an ONT. HFC uses a DOCSIS cable modem.

Pics look like there is an Enable Fibre leadin with the red duct. Could be wrong, apologies if I am

Success, managed to speak someone at Vodafone who knew the situation at Pegasus and have got a FibreX connection booked.
