2 Laptops not getting google.

first laptop running windows 7 64bit
second laptop running xp

Note this is a friends laptops that is 5hours drive i have been using remote software to access.

both laptops can ping google

On the windows 7 machine, firefox, maxthon and IE9 can not get google.

Ran Malwarebytes, Combofix, Hjackthis. spybot all found crap like fun web vundo etc.
Cleard all temp files. schedul tasks. went through all exe's in windows and system 32 as yo udo in a clean out process. Removed crap software entries in registry. removed crap programs from add remove programs.

ran Tdss killer from kaspersky and symantic.
 still no google.

On the Windows 7 after doing all of that. i set internet explorer back to default settings.

I could now for a little while get google.co.nz but not google.com

I think this is still infected. Maybe somthing that has jumpd from one pc to another via a portbl hard drive or somthing.

Can anybody think of anything thati havnt already tried. ?

Im thinking maybe norton removal tool as this has been nown to fix some firewall problems even on computers that dont have norton.

(they are running avast as anti virus.) I would normally be able to get to the bottom of this type of thing but as i am doing it remotly some pointers would be good if people have come across it b4 as it is time consuming with remote software.)

edit: I have done winsock fix. also Netsh winsock reset.
