Is it normal to have an update like this on wnDirect and nothing since (3 days)?
DPD and Fastway don't have a record when checking using the tracking code provided in wnDirect.

I had that on my last order. It got delivered on the 28th of August against the stated delivery of Sept 4, so it still came quickly, but yes no tracking.
The speed of delivery seems to have improved, but the tracking is still poor.
I am having the same issue with DPD. I ordered three books with standard shipping. I used the tracking tool of windirect as others have but my package status has remained the same for over 9 days.

Hry Mr7203, I wouldn't worry. My experience was exactly the same as those who replied above, my package magically arrived 1-2 days before the due date without any shipping updates. If the scheduled date passes follow up with amazon support but until then its a bit like a lottery as to what day your delivery will arrive.
Thanks for the information DubPhil. May I ask if you had any updates when the package arrived in NZ or was it nothing and at your doorstep before the estimated delivery date ? Let's hope mine does the same.
Nothing until it arrived. I must be honest I didn't check after it arrived if they retrospectively updated all the shipping info, I was just happy it had been delivered!

Had a couple of amazon shipments in the last few weeks, some came via DPD and others iparcel....
To be honest the amazon tracking of order is a bit naff, (heck I had one package get declared late by amazon, but it had been delivered the day before)
Update - I had my Amazon package arrive this morning out of nowhere although I did get a notification that delivery was today. Still, have no idea where the package was as DPD and Amazon had no tracking updates for over a week. Thanks for all the helpful information DubPhill and wellgary. Really glad I got my package.
Whenever I check my tracking on the Wndirect site once it has been notified as shipped for a few days I also get a Fastway tracking number which tracks from the International arrival through to delivery using the Fastway site? Can't believe that is unique to me?
Of my 3 Amazon orders this month, one with DPD (I think Fastway was the end provider), one with Landmark and one still pre-shipping.
DPD had two days of updates prior to the delivery date saying "Attempted Delivery Failed" and to please check for notice of attempt or contact DPD with no way to actually contact them being provided. There was also no evidence of any delivery attempt. Package was successfully delivered a couple of days after the first "attempt", still within the expected timeframe provided on order.
Landmark delivered on the expected date.
Next one is due Dec 4th, so we'll see in a few days who that goes with I guess.
I've just received my Amazon order via DPD. First order I've placed with Amazon for quite some time so appreciate all the information on this thread. Really helpful.
As per some of the comments above, I also go a non-delivery email from Amazon. The email came yesterday evening and the parcel was delivered by FastWay today. Overall time from order to delivery was 8 days.
Tracking information was all good once I figured out how to find it (thanks again).
I have taken screen shots of the various tracking details (Amazon, WnDirect and FastWay) which I can upload if anyone is interested.
My 3rd order mentioned above was placed on Monday 18th, ETA given as Dec 4th. Shipped on Friday 22nd with DHL, ETA updated to 27th. Message on Saturday 23rd saying expected to be delayed. Next message on Monday 25th saying "Out for delivery by end of day". Package arrived by the time I got home. Actual travel time 3 days.

Recently I had a package shipped with Landmark (handed to DAI Global, then NZ Post), it was slow and late, but trackable. And last year (2018) I had a package altogether worth about $50NZD, which took 3 weeks.
There is an unofficial delivery estimation for Amazon DPDgroup/Wndirect packages to NZ:
Orders under $30NZD in value (incl. shipping) usually take about 2 weeks
Orders between $30-45NZD in value (incl. shipping) usually take about 8-11 days
Orders $45 and more (incl. shipping) usually takes about a week or less
