I agree. When it's something technical like how to construct something, sure, use a video. But these days a lot of videos describe something that could easily be text - and indeed, text is better because it's easy to read and re-read. Scrolling back and forth through videos - especially when it has to rebuffer - is incredibly frustrating.

Mobile phone company CSR's who get cut off and then do not call you back, despite quite obviously having your phone number....!!
richms: Outgoing calls van skew the performance stats. Take another call and they are performing better.
Unless 'performing' means "dealing with your customers and their issues properly" of course...!
