richms:
I have just had delivery on a pack of LEDs that were ordered on feburary that had auto completed on aliexpress a while back. Looking thru my orders there are another 6 that auto completed rather than the seller extend the time. I will give it till the end of the week before I open disputes on them all.
Tracking is crap. Also it turns out that "accepted by last mile carrier" can either mean its in NZ and been handed to NZ post, or that the China place has just slapped another label on it. Sometimes the new tracking number is in view delivery details but it seems mostly its just a mystery of what happens between that showing on the parcel, and it turning up.
I've got two international departures in China on my label and then nothing since March.
A week ago I ordered some 3M double-sided tape from Amazon. Just received an email saying it's on its way - currently at USPS facility in Butner, NC - on its way to YouShop in Oregon.
Hope it doesn't get stuck somewhere. 😀
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

People moaning about slow couriers, top this:
I have one that is almost identical but about a week younger. I'm just pleased to see that I'm not the only one. Fortunately mine is (was?) just a $2 item with free postage. I wonder if it will show up.

This is my most depressing one.... I live 2.5km from the pick up location & 3.5km from the CourierPost depot.... :-(

I've found that for very small/low value parts that you'd like to arrive in a reasonable amount of time, it's often a good idea to order two, each from different suppliers and shipped separately. The vagaries of delivery times (a few days to a few months) increase the odds of at least one of them getting through.
I have a $2 part that has been "Accepted by Last Mile Carrier" since April 26, with nothing since. I have no expectation that calling or mailing anyone about this item will get me anywhere.
This approach, however, doesn't help the overwhelmed delivery infrastructure in New Zealand right now 😟
I'm having mixed results on companies notifying of dispatch and delivery, but one order placed on the 2nd through Fastway, arrived on the 11th. Another ordered a month ago, no dispatch update. Seems a few delays in contact for a third order from a third outfit, where they shipped me someone elses order and invoice, with my address on it. Will it all quieten down next week with Level 2?
Amazingly they called me back and left a voicemail, saying it was in a "locked cage" at their depot(?) and should be delivered in "the next few days". I wonder how long that will actually end up being.
Oh FFS.
PB item was picked up 28/4.
Reached Orewa 2/5
Went back to North Harbour depot 8/5 with a note of "Held in depot - contact us"
Via Post Haste, not Courierpost - so PB are obviously spreading the load.
But no notification was sent to anyone until I just queried it. PB now chasing it up.
WTF did it make it to Orewa (10mins from me) then get sent back ? ARGHH

Hi Shapenz
have you got your parcel yet ?
Well all my parcels I'm watching have arrived. Positive is nothing got lost in the mountain of extra parcels.
Will be interesting to see when service returns to overnight, suppose it will take 2-3 weeks to clear the backlog assuming less is sent in L2.
My PB parcel arrived today that was sent 5/5. Last item in the Rural Post van (we are not rural but they deliver parcels to our area). Only one day past their estimated so I can't complain.
