Speaking of accents, my 2.4 yr old daughter seems to have picked up a weird one. When singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star she pronounces words as "hoigh", "skoigh", "doimond." It's adorable but also baffling as I'm sure that neither my wife nor I (nor any of our immediate family) pronounce it like that (even if we all speak traditional Nu Zild)., She watches no TV so she's not getting it from a TV show, and her teachers at daycare don't speak like that. She may be putting on a funny voice, but couldn't say where it comes from. Weird...

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Or the paper towel dispenser dispenses pieces that are not much bigger than a single piece of loo paper, and ya gotta keep trying to tap the sensor to get a few more scraps, and the sensor has a 3 secound bebounce feature to prevent inadvernant double taps. Grr.

Roll on 2032, and the profanity detector dispensing paper infringement notices .... (apologies to Demolition Man )

Receiving a new card, taking it off its backing and putting it in my wallet, only to find that it is stuck fast there because of the invisible dob of glue that should have come off with the backing, but didn't. And then having to find a solvent that removes every bit of the adhesive. I'm looking at you, Farmers...and you, Countdown...and you, Foodtown.

I do that so often especially the exiting the entry doors and vice versa, then getting mad because they don't work. As for staring at the sun I saw the light on that years ago.

When you're parked at the supermarket and just about to leave. The opposing car park space in front of you is empty. Good, you can drive forward rather than reversing out.

Suddenly, some person in a big f-off SUV swings around and parks in the space you were going to use to drive forward. The annoying part here is there's a vacant parking space just to the left she could have used instead!
