Any reason why? I've had a couple of times where they've incorrectly classified my item as a dangerous good and had to demand it be reassessed.

The address was corrrect but heres what they said...

Based on the information you have provided, I am only assuming that the merchant may have labelled an insufficient or incorrect delivery address for our YouShop address.

Just got an email from Youshop about a new cheaper option.

More details at https://www.nzpost.co.nz/tools/youshop/features/youshop-usa-sending-options

Basically you wait a bit longer and pay a bit less

The new reduced price/lower speed for Youshop USA is nice. I've never cared that much about speed but have found through experience how parcels can be unexpectedly large/costly. It means ship2u is no longer clearly cheaper for any parcel 1 kg or larger when Youshop aren't having discount coupons. Although I suspect ship2u are still better at repackaging and also still have a more generous volumetric policy. (My single experience suggests Youshop is good at leaving a lot of unnecessary i.e. unpadded space even after repacking.)

For clarity, you mean Amazon is refusing to ship to that address? You say "too", have you seen recent reports of this? The only recent reports in this thread I can see seem to relate to Youshop possibly rejecting stuff (alternatively the sender putting the wrong address or not mentioned but I'm sure it's also possible that the shipper tried to deliver to the wrong place). And Youshop refusing to ship stuff they did accept and losing stuff they sent. Don't see any in the past 4 pages (to March or so) that relate to Amazon refusing to ship to a Youshop address.

I feel your pain, just had a parcel sent a few days ago. On the other hand, this is an excellent excuse for me to pick up a card game I've been wanting for a while.

My problem with the cheaper option is the lack of reward points. Fair enough it takes longer, but trimming two benefits is a bit sucky.

Since I don't have AirNZ points, I'm all for them cutting them if it means they can offer a lower price, even if it's only 25 cents per parcel

I can't wait to try the cheaper service on some items I want, but haven't been purchasing as I know that by the time they get to YouShop the postage to New Zealand will be massive (relative to the size of the parcel)

Brought some new headphones, fast shipping 36.50 or slow shipping for $26.50. Happy with that don't need them that fast anyway.
