I received a notification that my AliExpress order was delivered two days ago, but I never received it. The parcel was handled by NZ Post. Is there any hope 😭?

Are you rural? Might've been passed on to a contractor which AliExpress can confuse for delivery. Check NZ post tracking if you can.

Not techincally NZ post, but my worst-delayed parcel so far was sent on the 21st April:

Have had a few CourierPost parcels over the last few weeks. All have been fairly quick—usually next day with the worst one taking two days.

Still waiting on the same one parcel from USPS to be handed over to NZ Post. It's at 65 days now. I had a similar parcel that went out a few weeks previously that was delivered within the week and in fact it was delivered <24 hours after arrival in NZ (despite target being around 21-28 days).

NZ Post do use the original tracking numbers in some cases. E.g. USPS tracking numbers can be tracked via either USPS/NZ Post with very similar data appearing on either (e.g. it'll show the same date/time but the message will be slightly different).

Needless to say not gonna be buying anything from the US for the time being. Am very happy with our domestic services given they're managing next day turnarounds most of the time despite all that's going on. Props to CourierPost et al.

Wellington suburb. NZ Post tracking page shows similar information.

Been waiting awhile for this overnight package now, From Auckland to Auckland........

Logged a fault, have had contact from them but still no real update or change.

I feel your pain, except the difference between your one and mine is that the top date is the 27th of April. I've spoken to them twice and still yet to receive my delivery. I wonder who has the key for this "locked cage" they speak of?

People moaning about slow couriers, top this:

I have one that is almost identical but about a week younger. I'm just pleased to see that I'm not the only one. Fortunately mine is (was?) just a $2 item with free postage. I wonder if it will show up.

Yeah there must be hundreds of pallets of stuff from China sitting somewhere lol. Similar situation with 4 aliexpress orders.

In my experience the 5 day delay is an understatement, although it is understandable. I'm waiting on a few things (of course), one of which is a doozy:

30/4/20: Tracking number allocated

5/5/20: Collected from sender

5/5/20: Processing at depot (Wiri)

13/5/20: Processing at depot (Wiri)

And the waiting game continues 😑

Sent a pm to nz post through facebook on tuesday to see what's happening with it. Find myself wondering if i'll receive my parcel before I get a response.

Having a somewhat similar experience.  Seems like the Wiri depot is the rug they're sweeping excess parcels under for the time being.

It seems like parcels sent today will be delivered in a timely manner, but they also have a giant pile from a week ago that they're only slowly chipping away at.

Frustrating to be at the bottom of that pile.  You'd think things would be delivered in the order received.

It's great my Jay and Silent Bob action figures were delivered overnight, but would be really helpful if that essential item from a week ago would come through.  😣

Ordered a package from the states 15th April, showed as Processed Through Regional Facility since 18th April. Followed up with seller and they advised no flights from San Fran to Auckland in foreseeable future so refunded it.
It shows as international departure on nz post still, so fingers crossed it still arrives (custom car cover)

I'm tracking 3 parcels - 1 I sent and 2 waiting to receive.

All delayed and all just stuck in limbo for over a week.
