Bit weird I know but everyone moans about the rubbish on tv and everyone says how great the BBC is. For those who admire the BBC here's todays BBC 1 schedule -

Breakfast, Saturday Kitchen, Mary Berry's Quick Cooking, Football Focus, BBC Weekend News, Bargain Hunt, Six Nations Rugby, more Six Nations Rugby, Escape To The Country, Impossible Celebrities, more BBC Weekend News, London News, Pointless Celebrities (different type of celebrity obviously), The FA Cup, yet more BBC Weekend News, Match Of The Day, Marvel Agents Ensemble (at 11pm...), Weather For The Week Ahead, joins (you've guessed it) BBC News.

Something literally small was the spawn of Satan outside the window last night - apparently a relation to the cricket - which, instead of going "chirp, chirp" just let out a single CHIRRRRRRRRRRRRP for 20 minutes. Then a pause of about a minute, then it started up again...

That sounds about right, besides which, there's a few decent bits on BBCs 2 and 4.

The car in front is going at ~60 on a 100 road and didn't pull into the slow vehicle bay, even when honked at. That's just malicious.

Guy doing 50 on a 70 zone then drop to 30 on the 50 zone.

I initially thought the drivers didn't pay attention to speed signs but the fact they drop when the 50 sign shows up tells me they can see the signs really well, just don't care what others think.

Every three year-old who gets their first kiddie notebook knows how to pretend they are in the UK. BBC also has the best children's cartoons! (best = creative, fun, stimulating, imaginative, as opposed to American shoot-em-up jaggedly-drawn alien invader crap).

Or the ones that crawl round Whakatane town at 30km/hr, or are incapable of using the slip-road into Countdown, or are incapable of using their indicators to say they're turning left at the bottom of Hillcrest Road into George Street.

Don't know what the modern ones are like, but was reading on an aviation forum how practically the whole of the RAF used to shut down when the Magic Roundabout came on, and Playschool too, guessing through which window to look through today (always preferred the arched window myself)

Conversely, people who think that the slow vehicle bay is the normal lane to travel at 100kph in.

Some people...

There's also a propensity for drivers to accelerate as soon as they can see a sign indicating a higher speed limit. One person I spoke to was adamant that you should be doing (for example) 80Kph by the time you reach the sign, and cited the reverse as evidence, namely that when traveling in a 100Kph zone to an 80Kph zone you need to be doing 80Kph by the time you reach the sign. There's a confounding variable they seem to be missing.....
