Just watched - The Watch, a sci fi comedy about four guys who set up a neighbourhood watch group only to find themselves defending their town from aliens.  3/10 in my opinion.

And using Unblock-US to switch between Netflix regions, I see that Canada has old shows like Different Strokes, Hart to Hart, Quantum Leap, and Fantasy Island.

I've been watching Firefly. Never seen it before. But heard everyone saying it's suposed to be good. Never really was a fan of SciFi on telly - always looks cheap - this included. But the stories are ok.

I watched the whole series of Netflix House of Cards. I never was much of s fan of Kevin Spacey but really enjoyed it. I am working my way through Breaking Bad. Am halfway through season 2.

Yeah. The netflix queue gets screwed up by the 20 month old and 10 and 11 yr olds watching habits. Top 10 for you Matt is...... Thomas and Friends Misty Island Adventure....

Tell me about it. At least might is starting to be domintated by Walking with Monsters and Walking with Dinosaurs. I hope they have teh rest of teh series - it seems to go all the way up to cavemen.

I use a service called gowatchit.com which tells me when a movie in my queue has hit netflix instan streaming.

I watched a couple of eps of House of Cards - quite enjoyable. Then I watched one episode on the UK version. Too early to make a comparison but they are both enjoyable in their own way.

I will start on the West Wing when I have finished Breaking Bad, House of Cards got me hooked on US political dramas. I am not sure if it will be any good but it has good ratings.

NZTechFreak, thanks for the heads up on Hemlock Grove. Will add that to the ever increasingly long list!

I'm not sure how many are aware of this, but if you use Chrome, then there is a very useful extension called NetflixQ which lets you add movies to a queue when using Netflix regions other than the US.

Watched the first couple of episodes on Hemlock Grove, the second Netflix original show. Enough there to make to want to watch a couple more to see where its going, but it isn't a patch on the quality of House of Cards really.
