Honestly, I think this thread should be deleted. There's more appropriate places for this sort of stuff, like the sites talking about HAARP and Chemtrails.

Interesting I can understand some people do not have time for 'conspiracy theories' and I can assure you I am not some conspiracy theorist nutcase. What I do believe is the right to question because if alternative theories were never questioned and something was going on we would never know. I am not saying I believe these theories, I just find them interesting. If Geekzone is seriously opposed to this discussion taking place here that is up to them, although personally I do not see why it should be removed. If you are not interested you do not have to look at it.

Ok then, here's my take on those videos in particular...

I think they were made by someone looking for attention for something, anything... Neither "theory" passes the initial sanity test of 5 seconds consideration for reasons too numerous to mention. I don't believe the people behind either theory would accept any evidence (literally) and will continually propose emotive and pseudo-scientific opinions to back their nutcase viewpoints.

Also in my opinion, I think anyone giving those videos more than 5 seconds attention for any reason other than laughing at the idiots putting them up, or trying to understand what particular mental illnesses they are suffering from, is themselves suffering from some cognitive malady.

Trying to have a serious discussion about these videos would be like trying to nail jellow to a wall. (Notwithstanding http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKmKhqX9jwg )

Cheers - N

There's nothing against discussing it. It's just that the topic is ridiculous.

Just apply Occam's Razor to the events. What's the easiest explanation? Two people who got sidetracked in life and decided to do something stupid, or a vast government conspiracy, with so many opportunities for leaks that the chances of getting it done is almost zero?

Seriously, wasting time with conspiracy theories is just... waste of time.

I don't mind discussing these things from time to time. However, they do tend to go round in circles after a while and sometimes attract other posters with 'evidence' and have been known to spawn additional 'evidence' threads which also converge.

For this reason I would prefer these posts go in the conspiracy thread. IME it will be unlocked if you ask, and will run without complaints as long as there is interest.

this conspiracy theory is not even plausible ... some big dude in uniform carrying a huge detonator in view of every camera angle

instead of planting the device quietly and using hidden sms from a secret location which is so much easier

and then two dudes not affiliated with the government decide to come to the party randomly and has the devices the explosives and confesses for fun after shooting himself

seriously it's easier to disarm north korea than for this 1 min clip to be plausible in any shape or form

I need to unread this thread

It's a shame, because what's seen cannot be unseen...

qwerty7: What do you think?

Ultimately people will believe what they choose to, others will mislead and monetize (Alex Jones) as it plays to their audience. Eventually when all is clear they will probably have a public timeline of a huge amount of the boston images and you can decide for yourself. Even if there was blatant clear footage of 'white hat' dropping a bomb on the exact location minutes before the explosion it wouldn't shock me to see people disputing it still and coming up with more reasons why it wasn't them etc.

(imo)The reason people hate these type of threads is sometimes the people who believe in a conspiracy are a bit hardheaded (as are some of those intent to correct them), they get out of control and feelings get hurt.

I can believe the fertilizer plant missile theory is due to gas's exploding.

I still question aspects surrounding the pressure cooker bombs. Why does someone dressed as a Navy  Seal have the same backpack as the one the bomb exploded in? Was this 'navy seal conspiracy' planned by the brothers?

Why would a Navy Seal walk around dressed as a Navy Seal in first place? That'd be just plain stupidity.

Gah. I don't see anything yet which indicates it was the same type of backpack. Same colour maybe. Do you have something?

If not then your question is similar to - Why is the backpack the same colour as the black socks in your wardrobe? and how do I know you have black socks?

Here's a guy who did a couple of hours more work than Alex Jones and came up with more some sensible answers:

http://www.themediaspeaks.com/2013/04/21/identity-of-the-khaki-wearing-boston-bombing-operatives-revealed/.

I watched your videos. Read it carefully all the way through.
