I see MikeB4 has become marked as an 'inactive user', probably sometime today. I can't imagine him doing anything to get banned so I just hope it isn't due to his health issues. I crossed swords with him a few times here but he added value to the community and I will miss him. I hope he returns.

Sadly MikeB4 asked to have his account disabled. He did post a public message but I thought it was better not. I can restore if wanted.

Mike is not the only one to fade away. In some cases I wonder if their professional associations preferred them to become invisible. Hopefully real life just became too busy. In any case their helpful advice is missed.

Bring back Mike.

Hope he didn't take anything personally.

Forums are a terrible way to communicate and you cannot read tone in words.

His contributions were valuable and often provided a different perspective to consider.

I am sad to hear this. Mike made significant contributions to this community, regardless of whether you are in agreement with him.

I know that he had significant health challenges so I hope he is okay.

freitasm: He did post a public message but I thought it was better not.

Do you mean that anyone who saw the message when it was posted shouldn't discuss it? The above sentence is a bit incomplete.

I think we shouldn't discuss Mike or his motives at all. Just the fact that he is missed and we wish him well.

I do hope his health is ok. I hope it was his choice to go, not one made for him.

Only know of Mike through GZ. Understood that he was not in the best of health - but thought he recently told us that things were on the improve for him. So, sorry to hear this. All the very best to him.

@MikeB4 wasn't banned, he asked to have his account locked out. This means you can be free to discuss anything related to it as it was not a mod's decision.

Personally, I would welcome @MikeB4 back at any time.
