Apaprently they're going to stop artificially capping the upload speed, which is the cool part I reckon.
It's also going to allow longer lines for vdsl. And chorus don't seem to want to implement annex-m, and 1 megabit really isn't suitable these days for upload with multiple users.
Yes thats all said and such, but if you read into the details you see quite the opposite in the reports, thus the confusion.

Whoa I don't even see that sorta speed on an 27Mbps connection lucky if I top out at 2.5MB/s although once I saw it reach 2.9MB/s for all of 10 seconds LOL are you sure your syncing at only 23Mbps as that works out to a top speed of only 2.875MB/s not 4MB/s
