Alright then, I understand now some of the problems with this petition but somthing needs to be done, since joining the go large plan my dl speeds have droped from 70-250kb/s to 3-10kb/s...

Why not just vote with your feet and move to another ISP?

Woosh offers a plan with all the same benefits and less restrictions than XTRA Go Large.

Refer to the Orbit Flat Rate plan at:  http://www.woosh.com/ContentClient/Promo/Promo_DSL.aspx

There's no reason to stay with XTRA if it doesn't suit your needs.

Really why should xtra remove the limitations? If you dont like the service, don't sign up for it. If you were unware of said limitations when signing up, you deserve to be beaten round the head with a 33k modem.

Oh and welcome to Geekzone

Whats wrong with these plans? (Apart from the terrible speed atm)
If you want to be a leach 24/7 change plans and pay for the data you use. These plans are a huge improvement from the last plans. Dont be such a spoilt cry baby.

Yeah... a 'big' list of people who spend all day doing speedtests and making the network they complain about being slow slower will really get even more bandwidth to waste...

The British used to hang pirates. I am starting a petition to bring in capital punishment for P2P bandits. Do your part and vote now.

Hrrm have a look around and see that it would appear that the speeds, pings that are a problem at the moment are glitch, give them a little more time. As defined in their conditions I see nothing wrong with limiting traffic to 700mb in peak time. A petition will get you no where. Perhaps a call to their tech support asking when the problems will be resolved would be more helpfull if your that way inclined but really it would seem to just clog the system more.

I mean really how can you expect a petition to make a company give away broadband for essetailly free, internationa data cost plenty for telecom.

Would you sign a petition asking for McDonalds to give away free Big Macs?

If in fact the speeds are not a "glitch" then the way to go is commerce commison claiming false advertising, not asking them to remove all limits and caps. IMHO

Zanerkin: Your Signatures Needed - People Against Go Large Limitations.
We Need Your Help, Sign the Petition and Help Remove the Limititations on Xtras "Unlimited" Go Large Plan.

Visit http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/PAGLL/ and Do Your Part.

Before post things like this, I think you need to make sure you have your facts right.

full-rate 3.5mb up 128kbit/s down plan

No Xtra plans are now available with a max speed of 3.5MB, it is now max line speed. Minor detail I know, but in future, "do it once, do it right".

The problem is that a strong petition requires research, good grammar, good spelling, and convincing arguments. I am sorry, but I don't think we can find these elements there.
