My address has finally been updated on the chorus website to show fibre as available (w00t!) but how long until the 2 degrees database is updated to reflect this? Am I able to kick of the upgrade now or do I have to wait until the 2 degrees website also shows it as available?

I imagine you won't be able to order online until the 2Degrees website shows you can have it. You could possibly call them to see if they can run an order from their end, but suspect their call cetre staff will have the same issue.

At least if you contact them they may be able to start the process of getting the address updated in their system?

A lot of the RSPs update the addresses in batches, and sometimes there is a lag between Chorus updating the address, and that information filtering through to the various providers.

Hey Sidefx,

Wheelbarrow01 is right, we do update in batches, usually pretty quickly once the information is released to us. If the website doesn't show as positive on our side, but we can confirm that it is available in our wholesaler's systems, then we can definitely get everything underway for you.

Give us a yell on 0800 022 022 opt 2, then hit 3 for our accounts team (not 1 for sign ups, they don't have the tools to skip the address check), and we'll be able to verify and proceed :)

Thanks,

Ralph ^JOB

Awesome thanks, on the line with a CSR now.

(Wait time was much better than last time I called too. Nice one ;-) )
