We have had the enable guys installing fibre up our street for the last couple of weeks so jumped online to see when we can get it. The website says by July next year. I'm just wondering how realistic that is? Whats the average time from installing the conduate up the street to being able to ring up to get it installed?

The dates on on the website aren't really that accurate. Mine said 'by July 2016' up until very recently and I finally was able to order last month.

You should get a flyer prior to them doing the street explaining what's happening.

Then at some stage after they finish the street work you get another Enable notification in the mail saying it it available to order.

For me the second notification came more then a month after they had finished work in the street.

When I got my second notification I checked enable's and my isp's website and both said it was still unavailable but I was able to place an order by logging a support call.

And mine (Enable) said Mar 2017 I think, but I had it installed a couple of weeks ago - months ahead of schedule...

Awesome, sounds promising then 😊. how long was it roughly from when work started on the roadside until you got the letter in the mail saying it was available?

Was about 1-2 months where i am, work done during winter then was ready end of november (the chorus site said november). But the night before the first site visit last week they called and delayed for another month.
