Hi there, I want to move from One.NZ and I was wondering if there is a handy list of which ISPs use GCNAT and which use public addresses?  I currently have DDNS running off my Mikrotik router and it works well enough for my needs so I don't see any need to pay extra for a fixed IP.

See the sticky post: https://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=49&topicid=174969.

Since you’re running a Mikrotik take a look at Quic (rather sticky addressing or one off cost for a Static) or if One NZ is working for you then no need to switch.

Thanks.  One.NZ are no longer giving me my ex-staff discount so there's also no need to stay and little reason to continue supporting them.

Yeah I think you'll like Quic. One-off cost for a Static, they provide a /56 IPv6 subnet on top of this and are currently in the process of building a really solid network to replace their current one (see the sticky in their subforum on here).

I felt the pain when I left the banking industry and started getting fees all the sudden on things ;)

Quic have built APIs so you can see your ONT stats stuff usually only available to the RSP so lots of self-diagnostics available

They also have a great Geekzone presence.
