Technofreak: There'll probably be an HTC One available very shortly for swap with a 920.

Just a quick question of the HTC One. I've only had a quick look at it in store but it seems to have an interesting interface on the home screen, it seems almost like they are live tiles displaying allsorts of info. Is this correct? DO they function similar to the windows phone live tiles?

Devices:
HTC One
iPad 3rd Gen
HP Pavilion m6

Had the S3 and the Nexus 4.

I like this 920 interface way way more!

No they won't. It needs to be a local bricks and mortar retailer

They may do it with Parallel Importers as they are a store, probably about the same price since they include GST in their price. But again they may have some fine print that its not the same phone since its not through same distributor etc

Good luck!

I can't really say as I've not tried out the WP8 Live Tiles and I don't use that home screen on the HTC.

I think you're on to it! It's a shame if that means the 920 will be completely replaced, it'd be nice to have the choice!

Pro-tip, if you've flashed a new ROM you may be missing out on Nokia updates.

I flashed unbranded to my 920, and was missing things like Storage Check.

Store had no updates but when I updated this http://www.wpcentral.com/nokia-updates-extras-info-charge-chime with a QR

I had 12 updates available.

For 1314, been out for months and Telecom weren't releasing any update.

And I had nothing better to do last night.

Main reason being apparently 1314 fixed patchy reception problems.

I stream internet radio on the way to work each morning and it black spots in places it shouldn't, i.e. Wairau Road - > Smales Farm in Auckland (on Telecom).

did it fix any problems?

I'm surprised those updates weren't targeted at your openmarket ROM

were any Store updates for any apps coming through at all?
