Wanted: Tyre kickers and risk takers

Disclaimer: This is not an official Snapper product, it is an independent proof of concept with no warranty.

I am pleased to announce MyFeeder for BlackBerry 10.3.1

https://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/59957665/?countrycode=NZ&lang=en

SEP: BlackBerry App World sometimes throws a JBoss exception in the browser, try refresh or search for MyFeeder.

Same rules apply as

This is a true native Qt C++ app using bb::cascades, not a shameless repackage of an Android app.

The app abides by the BlackBerry UI guidelines.

A Z10 was used during development.

I am keen to know if it works on the Q10 and Q5, does it use the dark theme on Q10 and do all the pages work on the square screen?

A clarification to cope with the overwhelming interest, this is a true native BlackBerry 10 NFC application, it can read physical cards and also read the Snapper on a SIM. A Touch2Pay SIM should work when "Allow NFC Card Transactions" is enabled.

Let it be known that MyFeeder has now been certified as "Built for BlackBerry", and provides the signature BlackBerry 10 experience!

In the app store it has been awarded a little logo to prove it.

Hi roobarb

I just installed MyFeeder on my Q10. It has a black background with white text, ie the Dark theme.

It seems to work perfectly, although I haven't actually added credit to my Snapper. It wasn't obvious to me that I had to present my bank card (as opposed to typing in the card number and expiry), but once I figured that out it looks like it would top it up had I tapped 'submit'.

The square screen doesn't seem to be an issue.

I have a Semble SIM which I use in my Note 3 with the Snapper app. I'll try it in the Q10 next chance I get to see what happens when trying to make a payment! Cheers!

Excellent!

Good news about it fitting on the square screen.

Dark theme on Q10 is consistent with the AMOLED screen type, my Z10 defaults to a white background with black text.

Thank you for taking the time to test it.

The Semble SIM should be ok for payments - you won't be able to manage cards on the SIM though. This was discussed in the Semble thread here.

No worries roobarb and thanks for your reply Mauricio.

I had a look earlier and my impression was that the transaction should work when the phone is presented at a terminal, but there just won't be an app to support it, and instead that's done on a 'compatible' device.

The MyFeeder apps on Blackberry and Windows Phone should still be able to display and manage the balance on a Snapper installed on a Semble SIM.
