I am still wanting to finish witcher 3! That's my summer plan when I am inside which isn't hopefully going to be that much! Need to lose some weight and get some Sun!

I have had a knee injury and wretched run of health problems in the past 12 months it's been kinda hard. Doing the Otago Rail Trail this Xmas.

I think, when I decided I wanted to carve out some time to play something, I just picked the more recent one I already had? Having said that, I think I really enjoyed one of the Rome ones more than what I'm playing now... something about hiding units in the bushes that really appealed :)

I'm playing Outer Worlds at the moment. I really really like the game mechanics and gameplay, and story, and graphics, and casting, etc etc. But there's SO MANY LOAD SCREENS!. I reckon if I timed it, I would play about 30 minutes of game per hour. The rest is load screens when going from one place to another, or one sub-area to another. And the game leans on travel during quests a lot, so in each quest you might have to load different areas 20 times.

Really hope they patch the game to reduce that frustration, as otherwise it's pretty much a perfect RPG.

About 4 hours in, just landed on roseway and doing those missions.

I really like that it feels less risky than fallout - the dialog is super fun, but less quicksaves and trying different options.

Also much less run and gun than fallout (or at least the way I played fallout :)

If you are used to these sort of RPG's I haven't found the loading screens too bad - it's better than fallout where every building was a login screen.

My PS4 blew up a few months ago so I got a PS4 Pro. I had lost all my data for three partly-played games - including RDR after being about 25% into it. Replayed it got and got close to 100% completion. Brilliant game.

Same for HZD - had been about 15% into it when I stopped playing last year. Restarted that too and finished it a couple of weeks ago with close to 100%. Another wonderful game.

Now I’m doing the same thing with Witcher 3. Again I had been only part way into it and have now restarted it. First time round I had found the UI quite complicated and difficult to master and I knew that I had forgotten it and would have to re-learn it. That was totally correct but now I’m about 20 hours in and at Level 10 (apparently it can go to L.70) - almost where I was first time round. Have re-absorbed the game mechanic and really enjoying it. I’m seeking out and accepting all side- and secondary quests - looking for close to 100% completion again. I like to wring every cent’s worth of time-value out of my games. Once again - a fantastic game.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

I really enjoy that you can customise your character stats really easily and the different stats give you much different ways of playing the game. There's actually some great videos on youtube by a guy who has set up a bunch of different characters and takes you through the setup of each character archetype.

Afterparty , drink your way through hell. More fun than it sounds and the dialogue is actually funny and the more you drink the funnier it gets.

@throbb: Sweet, Total War Medieval 2 now added to my wishlist, and I might just buy it in the Steam Christmas sale.

I was playing No Mans Sky on PS4 for quite a while. I'll go back to it at some stage, might hire a VR kit over a long weekend and get immersed in it!

On Line Hidden Objects games. (https://www.hidden4fun.com/) Discovered these hidden object games when I did night shift in Sydney. Though in those days a work mate used to bring 'cracked' ones in and load them onto the work Windows machine. I actually preferred those as they could be timed and false clicked based and could take several hours per game to solve.

Having done a cursory look in the Apple macOS App Store most have in-app purchases and the truly free ones are very lame.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

Yes I did see them. The developer has 7 adult hidden object game bundles for NZ$1.69ea. I might give them ago. Thx 😀
